This program is a safe and comfortable option to consider when bathing at home becomes difficult or unsafe.What is the Bath Program? – It is a support service provided to assist people living at home to remain independent. It offers the following:
- Attention to personal hygiene needs including a tub bath, shampoo and blow-dry, grooming, care to finger nails and toe nails.
- Monitoring of clients’ well-being and referral to physician or caregiver for follow-up if necessary.
- Minor treatments such as medicated shampoos, prescription creams and dressing changes when the client brings the necessary items.
- Individualized care to meet each clients’ particular needs by a skilled nursing assistant.
- A private environment for your comfort and ease.
- A social outing.
- Assessment by a Registered Nurse and other health care team members as needed.
- Hot lunch available in Café from 11:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Who may use the Bath Program? – The program is designed for people who cannot safely use
the bathing facilities in their home, even with the addition of devices such as grab bars and bath
