Personal Supports Centre
Personal Supports are goods and services that assist people living with disabilities to participate in daily living.
The Victoria Personal Supports Centre works with adults (18+) with disabilities to meet personal goals including services and supports from government, community agencies and private sector organisations.
We are a single-window process to help connect people to the resources and supports they need. The Personal Supports Workers will facilitate access to assessments, trialing of equipment and assistive devices and, where appropriate, the training. We are here help navigated the system and give advise. We work with citizens with disabilities but the citizen makes the decisions. The citizen is the most important person in the process.
Assistance is guided by the individual needing personal supports based on his/her goals. As an individual’s needs change the PSC will provide ongoing support if needed. This service is to support and enhance, not replace the individual’s efforts to manage their life.

Examples of Supports we provide:
- Assistance in getting paperwork filled out
- Referrals to partner organisations
- Help in finding funding and completing applications
- Information about different programs and services you may qualify for
- A chance to network with others who have similar issues
- Navigate on your behalf with other organisations
- Information on volunteer opportunties
Every Tuesday afternoon between 2:00pm and 4:00pm there is an Employment Assistance Worker (EAW) on site and available to meet with people to answer questions. To make an appointment with the EAW contact the office at 250-595-0044 ext. 100 or reception@drcvictoria.com
