Information and Referral

Consumers may request and receive the most recent information on disability issues, including referrals to appropriate community resources.  We have a database on disability related resources in the Victoria area, a library, community brochures, and notice boards to gain information and knowledge about the resources in our community.

Peer Support

It is through the context of a supportive peer environment that an individual can gain the skills and self-confidence needed to overcome barriers and to learn to manage personal and community resources. It is a structured relationship in which people meet in order to provide or exchange emotional support with others facing similar challenges.

"Comfort comes from knowing that people have made the same journey. And solace comes from understanding how others have learned to sing again.” Helen Steiner Rice
